Add or remove phones for a user

Each Magic IP user can have multiple types of phones associated, such as SIP phones or softphones. Here’s how to manage phones for a user.

1. Access phone management

In the SmartPBX interface, go to the Phones tab after selecting a user. You’ll see the list of phones already assigned to that user, with options to add or remove devices.

2. Add a phone

To add a new phone, click on Add from available phones or New phone. You’ll then select the type of phone (SIP, softphone, etc.) and configure it to be linked to the user.

3. Remove a phone

If a phone is no longer used by the user, click on Remove next to the device. This will remove the phone from the user’s configuration.

4. Save changes

Once the phones are added or removed, click on Save changes to confirm the configuration.
