Configure user information

Configure user information

In Magic IP, each user has their own settings, such as name, system role, and call management options. Here’s how to access and configure this information.


1. Access user information

In the SmartPBX interface, go to the Users tab from the left-hand menu. Click on the user you want to configure, such as Angelina Jolie. You’ll then see a detailed view with multiple configuration options, including name, role, email address, and voicemail settings.




2. Edit name and role

You can edit the user’s full name in the designated fields (first and last name). Below, choose the user’s role (Admin or Standard User), based on their level of access and responsibility in the system.


3. Set email address and voicemail

The user’s email address is used to receive notifications about calls and voicemails. Click "Change" to update this address.
You can also adjust the voicemail (Voicemail box) settings, including changing the PIN code of the voicemail.


4. Customise call settings

You can define additional settings such as ring duration, primary extension to use, and Caller ID privacy settings. Once changes are made, click Save changes.
